Settings
All shop-level configuration is found under TeamCo โ Settings in the Shopify admin panel. Settings are grouped into sections based on their function.
Product Sync
TeamCo maintains a local product index to power the catalog browser and search. The sync section shows current status and lets you trigger a manual sync when needed.
- Sync status: Idle, Syncing, Completed, or Error
- Last sync started and completed timestamps
- Synced product and variant counts
- Trigger a full manual sync button
- View sync error details if the last sync failed
Automatic sync
Product changes in Shopify (create, update, delete) trigger automatic incremental syncs via webhooks. A manual sync is only needed after a large batch import or if products appear out of date.
Portal Customization
Customize how the employee portal looks and behaves for all employees:

| Theme colors | Primary, background, and text colors for the portal UI. |
| Logo URL | URL of the logo image shown in the portal header. |
| Show prices to logged-out users | Toggle โ when off, a login prompt replaces prices for unauthenticated visitors. |
| Require TeamCo registration | Toggle โ when on, employees must apply and be approved before accessing the portal. |
| Logged-in redirect | Where employees land after login: None (stay on current page), Dashboard, or Catalog. |
Search Settings
Control which product fields are included in catalog search results:
- Product title (always included)
- SKU / barcode
- Vendor name
- Product tags
- Custom metafield keys โ specify the metafield namespace.key pairs to include
Swatch Settings
Swatches replace dropdown option selectors with clickable color or image buttons in the variant picker. Configure:
- Which option names should render as swatches (e.g. "Color", "Colour", "Farbe")
- Swatch button size (small, medium, large)
- Maximum number of swatches visible before a "show more" toggle appears
- Whether selecting a swatch changes the main product image
Size Fields
Size fields let employees store their clothing or equipment sizes on their profile. Saved sizes can then auto-fill variant selections when browsing products.
Configure which size fields are available to employees:

Token & Session Settings
Control how long login links and active sessions remain valid:

Application Settings
These settings control how new company applications are handled when the public application form is enabled:
- Notification emails โ Email addresses that receive a notification when a new company application is submitted. Separate multiple addresses with commas.
- Auto-approve applications โ When enabled, submitted applications are approved automatically and a welcome email is sent immediately. When disabled, applications require manual review.
