Teamco v1.1: Approval Settings, Email Redesign & More

What's New in v1.1

Teamco v1.1 focuses on giving company admins more control directly from the portal — without needing to contact the shop owner.

Improved Approval System

We've made it much easier to configure approvals at the group level:

  • Direct approver selector — When order approval is enabled, the approver selector shows directly. No more switching between different settings.
  • Clear inheritance — Dropdown menus now explicitly show what's inherited from the company — e.g., "Inherit from company (No)" instead of just "Inherit from company".
  • Full control from the portal — Company admins can now add and remove approvers (buyers and admins) directly from the Teamco portal. No need to go into Shopify admin.

Custom Shipping Address Visibility

The "Allow custom shipping address" setting is now visible in more places:

  • Shown on both Company and Group overview pages
  • Can now be set per group (inherit from company / yes / no) — both in admin panel and portal
  • Company admins can manage this themselves from the portal

Email System — New Design & Customization

We've given the email system a complete refresh:

  • Professional template design with a visual editor so you can see exactly how your emails look
  • Brand customization — Set your global brand color and logo, used across all emails automatically
  • Custom sender — Change the sender name to your own (e.g., "Gezar ApS" instead of "Teamco") and customize the email address (e.g., no-reply@gezar.dk)
  • 15 Languages — Email templates now support Danish, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Polish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese

Catalog Variant Warnings

When managing catalogs, you now get a clear warning if product variants are removed from Shopify:

  • Visual warnings — See exactly which variants were removed, grouped by color with product images
  • Self-service — Choose to remove them from the catalog or keep them with "unavailable" status
  • No surprises — You're always informed when products in your catalogs change in Shopify

Bug Fixes

  • Orders for employees without email — Previously, orders could fail for employees created via CSV without an email address. The system now automatically uses the company's invoice email.
  • Products with 100+ variants — Products with over 100 variants were incorrectly marked as unavailable in catalogs. All variants are now handled correctly.
  • Cart budget validation — The "Place order" button was permanently disabled for some users with unlimited budgets. Now works correctly for all users.
  • Stale data — In rare cases, changes to catalogs and employees could take time to appear. Changes now show immediately.

This version also includes extensive stability and security improvements.

Nothing! This update is rolled out automatically to your Teamco system. You can start using the new features right away.
